L'Amiral is under new management this year. The food is amazing and the tripadvisor rating is way out of date. This must be one of the best restaurants in the area. It is far better than some of the other restaurants which are in the top ten. From the amuse bouche to the dessert every dish was complex and well executed. The presentation was picture perfect. I am used to London restaurants and this is up there with the best.
I suggest you go before it becomes maxed out!

This restaurant is a little off the beaten track because it's not quite in the town center or along the seafront, so it's not getting as much passing traffic as it deserves. But if you want a more gastronomic meal than the standard stuff in most restaurants in Juan les Pins, this is worth considering. Lovely fresh food and quite inventive mixes of flavours. The place is not really for those on a tight budget; the menu is the cheapest option (otherwise the dishes are pricey, admittedly), but the food and its presentation are of high quality and the portions are generous as well. If you're on holidays and want to push the boat out for a celebratory meal, this is one of the top options to consider.

We stumbled across this little gem ! The service was superb , and the surprises kept on coming ... From an incredible fish amuse Bouche to a starter of polpe ( octopus ) which was so tender . We also had the terrine of Lapin which was bursting with flavour. Then for main it was time to sample a delicious succulent lamb shank in a reduced sauce & the fish of the day in an asparagus cream .... It was all unbelievably good & to finish off we had a tiramisu and the lightest cream brûlée ever !!
Go there as soon as you are in Juan les Pins - it is superb !!
