We spent a week here in late September/early October and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The management and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and this greatly added to our holiday experience in the beautiful town of Menton. Our room wasn't huge but was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The buffet breakfasts were perfectly adequate and reasonably priced at 12 euros a day. Hotel de Londres has a rather nice courtyard area in front which provides a welcome degree of separation from the nearby main road as well as offering a charming space for relaxing with a glass of nice chilled provencal wine. We gather that the lovely young couple who have taken over the property have big plans for the future and we look forward to returning to see how these have been implemented. Overall, we thought this an excellent base with more character and warmth than many larger establishments we have visited over the years.More
