The hotel is far from the center, you need to use a taxi when you want to go somewhere. But the food was very tasty and the rooms were very clean. Also the staff were friendly and very helpful. They arranged a safari tour and the experience was very nice.

Mohamad helped us out with restaurant suggestions and places to visit. This person is very genuine! He also helped in transferring back to nice despite the storm. You can have perfect breakfast with view of the sea! Great location 5 mins walk to quai napoleon.

Hotel Royal Westminster is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location in Menton. Basically located right in the old town while being on the water. Splurge for the ocean view room. It’s worth it. Our room (507) was renovated and so cute. Beautiful small balcony to watch the ocean waves and the sun set. Fall asleep to the sound of the crashing waves. Could use more amenities (refrigerator, iron, microwave.) The only complaint is the shower gets water on the floor. Staff was excellent and friendly. Buffet breakfast was surprisingly equipped with many options and good coffee. Classic, french hotel. Don’t hesitate to book.

The hotel was dirty, the hallways and our room were smelling like mold and our room was very dirty. The carpet was filthy. Extremely noisy. The street was full of homeless and drunk people, we could hear them all night long.
The following night we checked in another hotel in Menton - Napoleon. Super clean and quiet. Much better.

The location of this hotel is simply excellent. On the other hand, it's pretty old, and hadn't had the renovation for a long time. The standart double room is quite modest and has no tea/teapot in the room.
