This hotel was an absolute gem of a find! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for somewhere truly special to unwind, relax and be in beautiful surrounds in the South of France. Even pulling up to the hotel we knew we had made an amazing choice and been lucky to find this hotel. It is green, lush and just as gorgeous as its pictures. It was peaceful and relaxing, the rooms are not over the top flash but have lovely big windows you can open (personally hate aircon even though this is an option here) and looked out on the gorgeous green surrounds. The pool area is pretty, the restaurant served up THE most divine steak and delicious wines. So convienient if you just want to arrive somewhere and relax completely and not worry about going out again to eat something delicious.

The staff went out their way from day one of booking to assist in booking massages, beauty treatments and anything else we needed which was a massive plus. Beauty treatments available to be done in your room was essential for my partner and I, two very tired people wanting all these luxuries and comforts in one place.

To top things off, great breakfast on a beautiful leafy terrace in the sunshine. Everything was wonderful, and as much as i would love this place to stay a little secret all to myself... I also want it to have all the success it deserves!

For those tired of over paying just because you are in ' Cannes' and not getting a lot for your money, this is a better alternative and not far in a taxi to buzzy Cannes. You can have it all!!

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel grounds were stunning but the rooms, staff and restaurant was unexceptional. Upon arrival, we literally handed a key and no other information. The restaurant offers no simple / quick options for lunch (no sandwiches or salads etc), just a rather pretentious formal dining menu which didn't suit us in 35 degree heat! The pool area was nice but the couches and lounge chairs were covered in ants and leaves and the staff made no effort to brush these off at any point. We had to ask several times for towels.

The rooms were okay but overall, for the money, this was not a particularly memorable experience and next time we would probably go elsewhere.

Even the alluring internet images cannot do justice to this unique place - the setting is out of this world and an oasis of calm - everywhere you look it is a verdant green and there is no sense that you are in a built up area
It is a manor house with soul and character
Breakfasts are continental - fresh juices pastries and bread
We also had a wonderful lunch around the swimming pool with friends - the in house chef has worked with some of the great french chefs and it shows in quality and presentation of the food
Camilla is a very hands on owner and nothing is a problem to her - a successful place always need leadership up front and this is not the case in many hotels elsewhere
