B&B
We are a family with two adults and two teens. We stayed for four days - could have stayed longer. We really enjoyed our stay. We had the suite on the first floor with two rooms with great view from both of them and a large bathroom. Rooms were quite small but functional and very clean. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful - they made us feel like at home. Great breakfast, clean pool with a corgeous view. For a family it was also very practical to have a fridge in poolhouse.

The location was more central than I expected. We rented a car, but needed it only for trips outside of Nice. If you are willing to climb stairs it doesn't take long to walk the local bistros and to the tram stop. It takes only some 5-10 minutes by tram to the city center. We also walked to the old town a couple of times.

Try the closest bistro le garnier. We ate there 3 times - good simple food, huge portions and friedly service.

We stayed one week in the suite Bella Vista. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom is beautiful. The bedroom and the sitting room have balconies with amazing views over Nice. Cathy is a perfect host and she made us feel welcome . The breakfast was varied and very good. The villa has pleasant garden and terraces . The swimming pool, which we could use at any time, is a gem.We made use of the pool house which has a fully equipped kitchen ideal for cooking your own meal. The pleasent walk down to the tramway takes about twelve minutes and the local bus back stops outside the villa. Overall a very pleasant stay. Gudrun and Jim Norway

We stayed at Vista Azzurra for 4 nights in May and could not have been happier with our choice. Cathy and Michel are fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome and pampered. You can tell they enjoy having guests and providing excellent customer service. Breakfast was served on the terrace, except for the first morning when it was too windy and we ate in the lovely dining room. Full French breakfast with delicious fresh croissant and baguette, coffee or tea of our choice, plus eggs that Cathy cooked any way we liked. We stayed in the larger room, which is really two adjoining rooms on the top floor with a large bathroom that includes a spacious separate tub. The views of the city and sea from the room are spectacular and most evenings we enjoyed a glass of rose while sitting on the balcony and looking down at the red tile roofs against the blue sea. Cathy had some great recommendations for restaurants. To get to the restaurants or shops we walked down the series of stairs through the neighborhoods. However, the pool house has a full kitchen for guests so we got groceries and stored them there for the afternoons or evenings that we didn't feel like venturing out. One day we stayed by the pool the entire day and soaked up the sun, which was very refreshing since we'd already been traveling for almost 2 weeks. We did walk all the way down to Old Town and up to Castle Hill on another day, but since it's such a steep hill to the villa we decided to Uber home (which was very convenient and I think under 10 euros). The neighborhood is very quiet and we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay there again if we go back to Nice, and in fact might go back to Nice just to stay there!

Room Tip: The bigger of the two rooms is the entire top floor of the house with two adjoining rooms and a spacious bathroom.

We have had a wonderful 8 days at Vista Azzurra with very special hosts Kathy and
Michel and their little dog Sushi. We stayed In the suite, very spacious, luxurious, everything we needed. The swimming pool, terraces, outside kitchen , everything perfect. We had amazing weather, breakfast prepared by Cathy on terrace. She even prepared our tray of morning tea! There is a bus service down the hill to shops and into town, but we preferred to walk, it kept us Fit! There is so much to see and do in Nice, excellent choice of restaurants and we used the bus and train to travel to Monaco and Cannes. We will definitely return, one of the best holidays and hosts ever!

Room Tip: The suite is spacious with amazing views

We had a lovely stay at the Vista Azzurra. Coming directly from the Cote d'Azur airport, we initially were taken aback by how high the B&B location was above town but the gorgeous views from our suite and the pool area won us over. Our suite consisted of a bedroom, sitting room and bathroom with separate tub and shower -- it felt like we were in our own private villa. Our hosts Cathy and Michel were most helpful with their dining and transportation recommendations. We will miss the freshly squeezed orange juice from their own fruit trees. Looking forward to returning someday!
