Beautiful ground, great swimming pool, lounge and breakfast terrace overlooking the valley. The location is also very accessible to the castle and village. Carol is a warm hostess and very helpful. Great little B&B for a few days to explore lavender fields and nearby villages. Gordes was chosen as one of the Les plus beaux villages in France and it does not disappoint. Can be a challenging drive on the narrow windy road with cliff side in most part, but it's worth getting up there for a spectacular view.

Great location near Gordes
Free parking
Very clean rooms and shared areas
Big room
Our room had a terrace which was nice to sit outside and drink our wine
Nice views
Good breakfast (breads, cheese, honey, jams, proscioutto, coffee)

Room was a bit bare, needed a little more decor / personality
No shower in the bathroom was definitely not good

Room Tip: choose a room with a terrace

The location of Domaine de L'Enclos is outstanding in its prettiness, with good views over the Luberon country-side, a building completely merged into the surrounding garden, deep silence in the evening and dark starry nights.
I had stayed there 5-6 years ago and returned with a friend for three nights in September.
Unfortunately the facilities are now quite changed.....looks like Venice after the passage of Napeolon's troops. Rooms are very sparsely furnished, with a metal sheet narrow table occupied by a coffee machine and one single stool, not even a chair, let alone a minifridge.Bed was average with poor quality pillows. Cleaning OK around the beds, but better not look under it... Breakfast was very average, with coffe out of a thermos flask, commercial jams from the Supermarket, and fruits not ripe. (The croissants though were good and fresh every morning). Most of the furniture in the house has disappeared. Our room was at the ground floor, with a nice terrace and a garden table... but only two chairs so we could not entertain our friend.
The location internet site , and the Booking.com site advertise it as having a "Table d'Hote" therefore offering dinner at night, but this was not available as one half of the two persons' managing team was invalidated.
So, in the present situation of what they are offering and not offering, definitely not value for money. What a pity in such lovely house and surroundings!

We stayed here for two nights as part of a walking holiday package. It is ideally situated with fabulous views over the Luberon from its large garden and terraces. The standard of the air-conditioned rooms (there are only 6 of them, each one individually decorated) is high, with good bathrooms, a Nespresso machine to use and a large comfortable bed. The super swimming pool is down on the garden terrace and served with a small sauna (we didn't use it but presume it works if required) and changing/toilet facilities. Note that swimming towels are not provided - this is a B&B. The owners are very friendly and usually around in the event of questions. Their taste in interior decor is detailed and again to a high standard, so it was a delight to be around the house. We had breakfast on the terrace and apart from pesky wasps around us, enjoyed the cereals and breads offered. The coffee isn't up to the Nespresso standard, being provided for breakfast in a large flask, so we stuck to making tea from sachets and hot water.
When we arrived we were due to eat dinner there, but the owner was carrying an injury so had kindly reserved a table for us in a restaurant in the town. Unfortunately due a misunderstanding between us, the experience wasn't good but the owner was very good about trying to compensate for this. We would suggest that she does not try to offer dinners.
The reason we do not give the establishment 5 stars is due to the gate entry procedure, which appears to have given others some problems as well. The domaine is within a gated community and therefore quite secure. Our previously provided instructions were to ring the bell at the gate; however after a very hot day's walking from Roussillon we found that no-one answered and we had instead to telephone the number shown at the gate and it was opened for us from within the house via the intercom. We feel that this could be made easier for guests to access, even though the lady owner was slightly indisposed. Our only other suggestion would be to provide milk in the rooms so that Nespresso coffee can be made with milk to be added. Not everyone likes expresso coffee and it would be an easy addition to enhance the customer experience.

Room Tip: Of the six rooms we were happy with the upstairs room views

Domaine de L'Enclos was so absolutely amazing. The fresh breakfasts, fabulous location, wonderful hosts and well cooked meals (if requested). Every detail was perfectly taken care of. We couldn't have dreamed of a better way to spend our time in Gordes!
