Road works had closed off part of the access road, so it proved rather difficult to find. Car parking immediately in front is convenient and check-in was easy. 2 lifts, each access different areas. Dined as a group and food was average, service was friendly, but evening bar staff in short supply.

We had a huge, modern suite with bedroom, sitting room, 2 WC's bathroom, 2 flat screen TV's but the windows overlooked an adjoining building site!

It's lack of character means I wouldn't want to spend 2 weeks there, but is entirely adequate for a short stay.

Room Tip: The suites are spacious and well appointed.

Have stayed here 3 times now. Great stopover hotel. Family room is perfect if there are 4 of you travelling. 5 minutes away from the lake and overlooking a great Lido. Wifi not brilliant in the rooms.

I would recommend this hotel with only a couple of minor reservations. We didn't eat in because although the menu and the roof top location looked fine, the wine was ludicrously expensive, so that made us have a look round the area near the hotel (see separate review of the Chalet Coucou).
The room was very comfortable but the curtains were no more than mesh curtains. They must have been see-through from outside in the dark, and I certainly had a street light shining in my eyes all night.
Otherwise excellent location near the lac, clean, comfortable, decent pool and sauna, good continental breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in February 2012 on a combined pleasure and business trip to the Chambery area.

The location is good-close to Chambery airport and with easy road access. There is ample free parking at the hotel. The lake front promenade is very close by and a really pleasant place for a walk, run etc.

The hotel is one row back from the lake with a building under construction out front spoiling the view a little. That said, we had a corner room on the second floor and our balcony had a lovely view of the lake and mountain behind.

The hotel is obviously very new and therefore clean and well finished. We had a superior room which had just enough space but was furnished in a pretty spartan way. The bed was on the uncomfortable side of hard. There is free in room wifi but we found this very slow.

The pool is very nice but much of the time it is taken up by various aqua classes-these seem to be an expensive extra for hotel guests-eg we were asked for 15 euro each for an aqua biking class. The hot tub and sauna are both very small but pleasant to use-we went each evening after we got back from the day. The gym is small but good with new equipment.

Breakfast at the top floor restaurant Kubix fell well short of the 12 euro each price tag with a very limited selection. There is a small coffee/drinks bar on the ground floor at reception and the staff there and at the pool were very pleasant.

Overall this hotel is a safe option but I'd say about 3 nights is the maximum stay I'd go for here.

Room Tip: Aim for second floor corner superior

The hotel was practically on front of lake. Room massive and very comfortable along with excellent duvets. The balcony obviously once had a view of lake through the trees but no longer due to construction of what looks like another hotel in front. Wifi didnt work on first night but staff were very helpful and would bend over backwards to assist in any problem. Breakfast was the basic continental. We didnt eat in the Kubix restaurant - the modern decor did not appeal to us for an evening meal. Lacked a bit of softness. Pool lovely. Only problem was sat- nav didnt recognise the address. We had to phone after circling the area area for a while
