Had a 1 night stay for two people. Upon arrival, the reception area is "unmanned" until 5:00pm. guests must be buzzed in so you may want to make sure that you know how to say you have a reservation in case the person on the other side of the intercom doesn't speak English!
I DO speak some german, so I was able to state that I had a reservation. We were told which room number was ours and given the code to open the door. We never saw a human until we returned back to the hotel later that night. This did not bother me but I mention so other travelers know what to expect.
The room we had faced the street, was very comfortable, simple, no frills but clean and quiet.
We enjoyed a European style breakfast in the sunny breakfast room with a variety of breads, cold cuts, jams, fruits, juices, coffee etc. which was included in our fare and made this hotel quite a value.
I would stay here again .
