Decent German hotel at the edge of Ulm. I always use this hotel if I need to be in the place. I guess I need to try out the spa next time, as I haven't done that so far. Breakfast is simple but okay. Rooms are a bit dated but quite large.

This place fitted the bill perfectly. We were en route to the Dolomites and, after coming through the tunnel, had stayed the previous night in St. Quentin in France just a couple of hours' drive south of the tunnel. Ulm is about as far as you want to drive the following day (about 400 miles but it's motorway all the way) and it's just off the E52 at junction 62. It's a quiet village and you come to it before reaching the main town itself which is Neu Ulm. There is a large tree-studded car park at the rear. We received a friendly welcome from an English speaking guy on reception and there is a lift to the upper floors. Our bedroom was clean and spacious and overlooked the car park, so was nice and peaceful with opening windows. There are plenty of open spaces in the village to walk our dog who was made welcome too.We ate in the restaurant where - be warned! - portions are substantial. The hotel has a trout farm, so the menu majors on that fish which we highly recommend, especially the smoked trout and potato salad, and the trout and shrimp strudel with rice. As our German is rubbish at best, we relied on the two girls in the restaurant to help out with the menu which they did with great patience and courtesy. So much so that we left them an individual tip. When I went to pay the bill next morning, the restaurant tab was pinned to it along with a note "thank you for the tip. Frau Lausmann". A nice touch.

We stopped here overnight after a long, wet, difficult drive. The hotel was easy to find. The receptionist was very welcoming and spoke good English. There was ample on-site parking. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. We ate in the restaurant. The décor is a bit dated but the service was efficient and our waitress friendly. Our meal was good. I had a steak salad starter which was enormous and very very fresh. Breakfast was good.

I usually spend a night in this hotel travelling at least twice a year from Belgium to Italy and I find it a nice and clean hotel. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with TV. Free wifi in the hotel. They accept the animals and this is the first reason why I have decided to chose it. Bar tenders, waiters and receptionists are very nice and helpful. The parking place is located behind the hotel and is safe. Possibility to eat inside at good price.

Arrived much later than expected at 21:45. Staff were great. We were allowed to order a meal and drinks even though restaurant was close to closing. Meal was first class. Drinks a welcome sight after riding over 450 miles on motorbike. Room was really well furnished and wifi first rate in room. Nice quiet location. Breakfast typical continental fare. Plenty of selection. Hot options also available.
