This is a basement apartment. There is easy access but you do have to go up a flight of stairs then down a double staircase to get to it. It is 2 rooms and a bath. Clean, well cared for. It is a short walk to the U-bahn station. From that station you can quickly get around Munich easily. This would be a more perfect choice if there was a washer/dryer in the apartment, but it served us very well. We spent 6 nights in the apartment. It was quiet and in a safe neighborhood. The furnishings seem to be antique and were very nice. In the pictures, the bed appears to be a king-sized bed. It is, and has a light quilted bed covering. When you remove or pull back the bed covering, it is the traditional European bedding. The one complaint about the bed was from my 6'4" husband who would prefer no footboard. He could not stretch out fully. The biggest advantage of this apartment is a small fan attached to the wall in front of the bed which blows on the bed. It was very warm when we were in Munich (and Germany) and this was the only fan we saw anywhere. It was HUGELY helpful. We did call Alex twice and received very quick service from him. Don't let the lack of reviews here sway you. This is a really nice choice. You do have to provide whatever food you want, by the way, The directions we received to get there were perfect. It was a little confusing to find the bicycle and then unlock the key box, but it worked the first time! Great choice!
