There's not much to see, but it's a part of very interesting history. So, in my opinion it is worth to stop by.

I agree with the previous reviewer. The Shindlers' house is part of the net of goodness that surpasses evil. Just as Regensberg was spared in the war so were lives through Oscar's work.

True, it is only a plaque on the wall stating that Oskar and Emilie lived there for a year. True, you can't go in and see anything. But I got emotional just knowing that I could be standing in the same spot as such a wonderful person. For the record, I'm not Jewish, but I think WW2 and the Holocaust are extremely emotional things and everything associated with them is emotional, for me.

The Schindler house is now a commercial business right off the main shopping area...the plaque indicates the
location...

Just a plaque on the wall. Go to Poland and see Mr. Shindler's factory,that is humbling. They have shops down below and they only lived in the home for one year. The German people were unhappy with what he did for the Jews.
