Owner description: One-time residence of Osckar Schindler, the famed heel-turned hero immortalized in the movie "Schindler's List."

The house where Schindler and his wife lived for a few months is just a private house with a plaque on the wall. With no access for the public It isn't a museum or anything similar just an acknowledgment that they lived there after the war.

There is nothing to actually see here, as far as I can tell. It's a private building not open to tourists.

Just remember you are only going to see a plaque on the wall and don't expect any thing else. What is important, is he lived here for over a year after the war and he was a very wonderful man, and as I am a huge fan of what he did during the war, I was very emotional just looking at where a great man once lived.

There's not much to see, but it's a part of very interesting history. So, in my opinion it is worth to stop by.

I agree with the previous reviewer. The Shindlers' house is part of the net of goodness that surpasses evil. Just as Regensberg was spared in the war so were lives through Oscar's work.
