Here in Wurzburg for business, but no lifts, no laundry service, and I had to request a safe in the room. While far away from city center not a big issue, it does take time after a taxi is called. Average breakfast and no special orders (forget the pre-cooked eggs). Below standard bath products. Happily, not so warm as I didn't see any air conditioning. Reviews on TA site greatly exaggerated its level.

The hotel itself is quite quaint but a little shoddy. The room was an expensive single but recently renovated. Pillows were not great. Reception staff were fine. Breakfast was OK. Thank goodness it was included as there was nothing close by as an option. I thought the location too isolated and very difficult to get to in the dark. Also no lift which makes it difficult for older guests or those with leg/knee problems.

We really liked this hotel, and we had a car so the parking was more important than the location.

Room was comfortable, great bed and decent sized bathroom. Staff was extremely helpful and breakfast was very good.

If you have a car this is a great place to stay. If you're without transportation you might want to look closer to the old town.

Room Tip: great if you need parking

This hotel is ideally situated a 10 minute tram ride from the all the sites of Wurzburg. From the moment of arrival we were treated as important clients, the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast exceeded those normally associated with similar establishments. We will return.

This was the first hotel we stayed at for our road trip along the Romantic Road. It was convenient to drive to and had ample parking included in the stay. The restaurant was a nice place to grab some food or an after dinner drink. The staff was very friendly and we were able to purchase tram tickets from the front desk which was very convenient. We were able to take the tram (which is just a short walk away) into the heart of town. They also provided printed instructions for which trains to take which helped orient us to the system. There is a church next door with bells that ring in the morning and throughout the day but we did not mind it. There are several restaurants, gas stations, and a "sparkasse" nearby where we could get euros with our American ATM card. Breakfast in the morning (also included) offered a wide selection of breads, juice, a fun touch screen coffee machine, yogurt and a selection of toppings (fruit, granola, etc.) for the yogurt. There was also the traditional meats and cheese available. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, albeit a bit dated in style. The private bathroom we had was pretty modern looking, as though it was updated recently. Overall an excellent stay with kind, helpful staff in a great location!
