I have visited many Italian restaurants and first time I have the chance to order a mix plate of pasta!! Clever idea although they were not all that tasty. Their 12 apostel salad was delicious and their pils bier tasty but too light for me! Don't miss their pizza! The place of the restaurant is also very beautiful and romantic

While you can expect large potions, from what we experienced and observed, do not expect genuine Italian food. While the pasta had an abundance of mushrooms and chicken, the sauce was entirely too thick and a little salty. The chicken dish came with enough potatoes to serve a table of four. The pizzas served were large and looked delicious but the bread served was tasteless.

It should be noted this restaurant is huge and seems to cater to many large tour groups. If you are seated indoors it gets quite loud while outdoors there are many trams passing as well as trains above.

... And very delicious. Bresola, fig and goats cheese is particularly good. But, despite being hungry, we barely made a dent in them. The restaurant is huge, and sits in a series of arches under the railway line running east from friedrickstrasse station so you get the atmospheric rumbling of trains above you. The ceilings are painted in the style of its name and in the corner is a large copper domed wood burning oven which emits gargantuan pizzas through the night. Very friendly staff, extremely quaffable wine. Great evening. They did offer a doggy bag for the huge amount of pizza we were unable to do justice to.

We loved this restaurant- it is located on museum island and has many tables. We arrived at about 9pm with no reservation and were seated immediately even though the restaurant was very busy. The wood fired pizzas were huge! They were extremely tasty with a nice thin base. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I just had dinner here, really great Italian food, but careful big portions.
To be sure, book in advance a table.
