Absolutely lovely concept, lobby, and great staff. Location is perfect. Music, courtyard and vibes great!

We stayed in three different rooms. Note: no a/c in these rooms...worked okay for us but I can imagine frustrating if paying this much and then staying during a heatwave.

The Hideout: we got upgraded for a night and it was awesome. Large, plus a sauna of all things, enormous soaking tub, great sparse japanese-like feel.

The Gold Room: lovely, decadent but small. Flaws: no full length mirror. Some areas not painted gold looked cheap like the bed framing.

The View "book" Room: Just okay - disappointed a bit. Flaws: shower is literally at the head of your bed. No full length mirror. The bathroom is really depressing (mismatched from the room, like from a cheap motel). No great mirrors for face stuff.

But overall couldn't beat the location and the feeling of the hotel. Just wish they'd add some more details to make the price feel comparable.

Room Tip: Book room needs work...didn't feel like what I paid for...

We had torrential rains for most of the 3 days we stayed in Berlin, so while we braved the weather during the day we luxuriated in the hotel lobby. What a lobby! Comfortable! Social! Cool! Lots of books. Lots of couches and other comfortable furniture. And a great bar. Did I mention the musical instruments available to play if you are so inclined?

Our loft room was great. The bed itself, two twin sized beds side by side to form one really big bed, was comfortable even to us 50+ year olds.

My only regret is that there wasn't a refrigerator in the room to chill our beer and wine. But we did the next best thing, we went downstairs to the bar.

We were looking to have a morning coffee somewhere and wandered into this hotel. It was funky and interesting with a hidden outdoor courtyard. Staff were friendly and very helpful - we had a great coffee and it came with a glass of water on the side. We were so taken with this hotel we took a brochure with a view to staying the next time we are in Berlin.

It was great to stay in this hotel with friends. We are 5 and stayed the room for actually for 4 people. It was perfect size for us. We ate the breakfast in the hotel but honestly it was not so good otherwise I give 5 stars for the hotel. The staffs are very friendly at the reception and cafés. One thing you should watch out is the shower floor is slippery!!

we only visited this bar with a small group of people for drinks. The seating inside the bar area and decor are subtle, cool and relaxing with an arty edge,
The staff are friendly and helpful , their service is top quality
Lots of small areas within which to relax and chat, with a great quad outside garden area well fitted with all sorts of different seating, like benches, relaxing settees and bed style raised areas. Had such a cool and relaxed feel to it, could easily spend hours there and added bonus of book library that you can use while visiting , don't miss!!
