The museum is a monument to the German resistance movement and in particular to the men and women who sacrificed their lives for their beliefs. Housed in Bendlerblock which actually held the offices of the men who planned to kill Hitler on 20th July 1944 it is very moving the learn the fates and motives of these persons, many of whom were shot in the courtyard including Claus von Stauffenberg,Friedrich Olbricht and Werner von Haeren. The museum very well laid out with explanations in German and Englishmis free of charge.
