Well what a surprise this hotel was.....I booked it because I liked the Fawlty Toweresque exterior
Located just a 10 minute walk from the lively Sachsenhausen bar and restaurant district
Approx 20 by car from Frankfurt Airport, off street parking is available.
Our room was enormous as was the bathroom, and a bargain at EUR 88.00 a night
Fantastic breakfast served.....would definitely stay here again...

This bed and breakfast was a little surprise. I didn't know what to expect on our first night in Frankfurt but was pleasantly surprised.
We had a room on one of the top floors and there is no elevator, but the staff offered over and over to bring our luggage up for us.
We had a swanky room with a modern bed and teal carpet. It had high ceilings and plenty of space. The shower was tiny but no big deal.
The breakfast was all made fresh and was delicious.

This is how I imagine hotels used to be in the past before the large faceless chains took over the cities. Its a quaint hotel thats about a 10 minute bike ride from sachenhausen. I arrived late, so when I called to tell them , they arranged a quaint way of allowing me access to the hotel, which I will not describe here for security reasons. The room was large and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was long, thin and a little awkward. I thouroughly enjoyed my stay here as it felt like a little step back in time

I stayed one night in this hotel. It is nice, room was big, bathroom was modern and nice too. I had room with balcony, quick free wifi. There are no free plugs in the room so if you want to charge your phone, you must unolug either lamp, tv or minibar.

As other reviewers have pointed out, the property is fraying around the edges, but we felt that it contributed to the hotel's charm. Our room was on the first floor and was huge, with high ceilings and a bathroom large enough to have room for a couple of pieces of exercise equipment. It's location is in a quiet neighborhood that was an easy walk to restaurants and the old town. We only used cabs to get to and from the rail station. This was our first stop upon arriving in Europe, and it allowed us to relax, deal with the time difference, and be ready for several weeks of touring. I would recommend this hotel.
