The location of this Motel One is reasonably close to the airport (less than ten minutes in light traffic), but it is on the edge of the City, requiring a lengthy walk (about an hour) to the centre, or the use of public transport/taxis.
This Motel is set in an up coming commercial district and as such tends to be frequented by business people as well as tourists.
There are no evening meals/restaurants to speak of, although there is a constant stream of food delivery people arriving for guests and the hotel is relaxed about them being eaten in the bar/foyer.
Breakfast is purely continental in style, with a limited choice of cereals, plenty of breads/pastries as well as cheese and cold meats, boiled egg etc., Not sure it's worth the 9.50 price tag though, about 6.50 - 7.50 would be more reasonable.
The rooms are modern and functional with comfortable beds and everything to you would expect of this type of hotel.
Staff could not be more welcoming and very approachable with excellent English for us UK language retards.
Overall, one I would revisit but if you are wanting to be in the heart of the city, then one closer to there would be a better bet.
If you do go, search out the Indian Curry House nearby on Goldsteinstrasse, it's in the middle of the allotments that take up a lot of space in this area, and is very very good.
Also, over the river, about 20-30 minutes walk - Orange Beach, an outdoor bar next to the river.

This is a great choice if you want to be close to the airport and avoid any traffic. The surrounding area is peaceful and nearby restaurants are good. The rooms at the hotel are very nice with comfortable beds and pillows. The bar is very good and snacks can also be served. Breakfast was very good and the free wifi worked well. Price is very good for a Frankfurt hotel.

An easy to get to on its own shuttle hotel that is ultra contemporary and comfortable. The shuttle to the hotel is free, from the hotel to the airport is a reasonable cost. An elaborate breakfast is an extra charge, but well worth its modest price. The rooms a well appointed with free wifi. While there is bar service, dinner can be ordered from nearby restaurants. The Indian cuisine was superb and there was plenty of it at a reasonable cost.

Room Tip: Third floor was quiet.

I don't have good image on "Motel" from my experience in USA in terms of security. But Motel One was different. Their bulding was just same as general Hotel.
I stayed one night for transit. Room is simple and clean. Value for the money.
Airport shuttle to the hotel is free but charge 6.80 euro to the airport.
I still think it reasonable and will stay again next.

For work I was booked for two nights in the Motel One Frankfurt-Niederrad, which is also known as the Motel One Frankfurt Airport.

There was ample parking space when I arrived and the check in was friendly and quick.

The room itself was clean and not very big. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was not too big, and had a not so convenient step into the shower, which gets soaking wet and therefore slippery. Another little thing bugging me during my stay was the "chair" they provide for the desk. It was more of a stool, but a little to low and too soft. It looks nice, but isn't suitable for working an hour or more on.

The breakfast buffet was okay. Plenty of offerings, but now warm things, except a boiled egg. Also, the buffet area was quite small and therefore somtimes overcrowded during the morning rush hour.

All, in all the hotel did the trick for my two nights stay.
