Nice service! Tasty German food with a good selection of vegetarian dishes too! Good location. Could have done with some crispy onion on the käsespätzle personally (do they even do this in Hesse? is it a regional thing) We went back three times in one weekend! I also had one of their salads which was also really tasty.

Been here a number of times over the years, great place to sit outside and watch the world go by.
I was with a colleague from work, we both had the gypsy style schnitzel which was really very nice and would recommend.
The service was also very good, very attentive lady.
Will visit again soon

I was fortunate enough to be in Wiesbaden for the 2 day Wilhelmstrasse Festival and was able enjoy a dinner at the Bäckerbrunnen, a place that has been there since 1906. What made it even better was the fact this time of the year White Asparagus is in season for a short period of time so restaurants use seasonal ingredients in there dishes. The cream of Asparagus soup was amazing, and their schnitzel with jaeger gravy (mushroom sauce) was tender and rich in flavor. Having a side of the Asparagus was great and paired with their hollandaise sauce it was over the top. This is a hidden gem in the walkplatz area downtown but worth funding!!

A little leafy oasis in one of less visited streets of the pedestrianised area. The name refers to a fountain from one of Wiesbaden's many thermal springs. Ham with asparagus and a tasty meatloaf with mushrooms - just right for lunch outside on a warm day.

Visited this nice and frindly restaurant for lunch. Since it was "spargelzeit" the choice of dish was obvious :-) White asparagus with ham and sauce hollandaise and a glas of chilled Riesling. Perfect lunch.
