We spotted the church from the top of the hill and descended to see it. Quite a surprise and a steep walk back.

Beautiful church hidden in the woods. The golden roofs look stunning, especially in the sun. It's definitely a hidden gem you should look out for when you visit the Neroberg.

The whole of the Neroberg is worth visiting, which includes a visit to the Orthodox Russian Church. Much smaller than expected, it is nonetheless beautifully decorated.

When you go up to the Neroberg you have to visit the church close to the "summit" of Neroberg. Of course you have to pay to get inside this church - but keep in mind that the people there needs the money to keep the church in the phantastic condition it is.
Take a seat inside, listen to the silent music and look to the people. You will be surprised how many russians are visiting this church. Some of them just look like russian mafia - but all of them are getting on their knees and are praying. Very friendly people. And the church is amazing.
