An interesting visit; this relatively small church looks like a small golden piece in the forest. It overlooks the city with a nice view on Wiesbaden. The interior is also very rich in typical decorations.

It's not spacious inside but that's the beauty of it. I've visited lots of churches but this one is one of my favorite ones. Beautiful doors. Nice to see an different kind of worshipping.

This lovely orthodox church was built in the 19th century. The architect was inspired by Russian orthodox churches ( especially the cathedral of Christ the saviour in Moscow).
The church was originally built to burry the Grand duchess of Nassau who died early in childbirth. Nowadays it belongs to the Russian orthodox church in Germany.
From the hill you have a beautiful view !
The women working a the entrance desk are somehow unfriendly and remind you to pay for the visit.
The church itself is extremely beautiful and worth a visit!

Small fee to enter and no pictures allowed. Very beautiful place with nice scenery. Small hike to get there, but worth it. Not a good place for my 2 year old so we had to take turns going in.

We spotted the church from the top of the hill and descended to see it. Quite a surprise and a steep walk back.
