As someone who watches every Roman documentary on TV, I really enjoyed visiting this museum. The actually show a floor that the excavated in the lower level of the museum. If you like to see antiquities, this museum is for you. They even have rare, hand-blown artwork.

An interesting place to spend an hour or two, especially on a rainy day. The restored frescoes and mosaic floors, combined with an array of sculptures and other artifacts make this a worthwhile stop.

This is a very tired display and needs updating (which it should be getting soon.) I also felt it was very bad form to make people put even small rucksacks (mine is basically my handbag) in a wardrobe BUT make them pay for it!! If you are forcing people to leave their stuff somewhere, it should be part of the entry price, which was quite high enough already for what you were getting. There was a lot of Roman stuff - rather too much in fact - but less about the Franks, or about what happened when - if - the Romans left.

An excellent collection of artefacts and structures and so well preserved! For only a few euros, you get as much time as you like exploring the surprisingly large museum. There are a range of interactive and other exhibits. Almost all signs are in English and French, as well as German. I really only tagged along at first for my partner who loves ancient history, but found myself drawn in too!

This museum has many Roman items from their time in Germany. There are many statues, building archways and a large room-sized mosaic floor. We enjoyed this museum.
