Good place opposite ground

Excellent location opposite iconic stadium. Stopped for a few drinks whilst picking up tickets. Drinks well priced and served by great staff in a buzzing environment. Full but did not feel packed and service quick

Great location

Stayed here for 2 nights to visit the Christmas markets. Easy check in. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a corner room. Well designed room. Very large with comfy bed and good supply of coffee/tea. Also had an espresso machine. Room had ample storage areas and a good safe. Located next to large football stadium and exposition center. 2 minute walk to U Bahn. Take the U46 three stops to center of city and Christmas markets. Parking was free. Very nice pool steam room and sauna for no extra charge. Beautiful grounds and park nearby. Would definitely recommend. This is the first time staying at a Mercure hotel. Will definitely consider Mercure in the future.

Perfect for BVB game!

Stayed here for one night during a trip of Germany and it could not have been better placed for going to a Dortmund game. The hotel offers free parking which is great and on a match day, if you are staying in the hotel, the roads are all blocked off, but the stewards have a list of guests staying at the hotel which is very organised and helps! You can leave your car here for free and you have peace of mind whilst going to the game. Room itself was very clean and tidy and staff were attentive. Will definitely stay here again when going to a Dortmund game.

Short Stay Hotel

Overall this is a good Hotel, with great staff, clean spacious rooms and good views. Let down by limited car parking and very limited food service. This hotel caters well for the business traveller but is over rated as a 4 Star hotel for the independent travellers. Shame it could be a great hotel if only they would provide a much better food service.

Dear Wilf,

We thank you for your stay at our hotel and your feedback.
We offer one parking place per room for free. In case the parking area directly in front of the hotel is occupied, we have an alternative parking area directly next to the one in front of the hotel. Consequently there should be no problem parking your car.
Regarding the opening hours of our restaurants we have to state that we close our lunch buffet restaurant at 3 p.m. and open our RELAX bar-restaurant again at 6 p.m.
We regret these times did not satisfy your expectations.
We are pleased you enjoyed your stay apart from our food Service and are looking forward to your next stay.
