I stayed for one night on my way to Berlin, it is a comfortable hotel a short distance into the city. Breakfast is the usual standard and the was plenty to eat. I had a large van and found adequate parking to the front of the hotel plus there is garage parking.

The location is (in my view) excellent - a two minute walk from the nearest UBahn (tube/subway) station, with the city centre a 5 minute ride away; a 10 minute stroll from Westfalen Park which, although you have to pay a couple of Euro to get in, is well worth the admission. The hotel staff are welcoming and friendly, and the rooms are clean and comfy if a little basic (a room safe would be a welcome addition). Breakfast isn’t cheap, but there’s plenty of it, and it’ll get you started for the day. All in all, an enjoyable stay!

Average hotel and its okay for couple of days overnight stay. Not suitable for long stay... very small rooms.... Lack basic amenities in room.
Breakfast is excellent... Rest of the only some sandwich option is available.
Wifi is good

Ibis Dortmund City is a very nice hotel. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. The bedrooms are comfortable and spotless. There is a good selection of food for breakfast. We enjoyed our Christmas
there and will definitely return again.
