Stayed here for one night whilst working in Dortmund and had to bring my family with me. Spacious and clean room, with a separate living space and nice bathroom with a bathtub.
We checked in a bit earlier and the room was already ready which was a nice bonus and a bed for my baby was brought up. We all felt very comfortable and really enjoyed the breakfast which had some gluten free and vegan options, plus a lovely little kiddies selection. Only negative to add is the road outside is loud all night but if u want the location then it’s something you can’t avoid. Would definitely stay here again

Booked this accommodation due to decent reviews and proximity to train. Check in was easy. However, upon entering the room we found no coffee cups, kettle, bath towels and bedroom slippers. The standing lamp next to sofa was also not working. Would have been nice if they had a tv in the living room area. We had the ac turned on but it felt stuffy regardless. What’s worse was the water service disruption between 10/11am till 2pm the next day but no one bothered to inform us during check in. There was no letter note anywhere in the room either. When my husband questioned the front desk, all they could say was there was a note in the lift. We did not see any, except for the unavailable steam room notice. Honestly you cannot expect guests to read every single thing and your occupancy wasn’t full so it would have been nice to personally inform guests during check in. Front desk offered some form of service recovery (ie free minibar and breakfast) but it has left sour taste on our experience. Even the hotel boy who went around distributing bottled water to guests during that period tried to apologise on behalf and said he himself was not pre informed of the water disruption. Hope the Management can review this and avoid such situation from happening again.

We stayed here for a quick stop and trip of 2 nights. Has great location next to the Banhoff (station), the check in and customer service was good and expedite. When we arrived the room was ready (before check in time) it was busy days there because of the BVB game so it was good. Rooms are clean, comfortable and with all the amenities. The breakfast was included in our rate and it was a very good continental breakfast more than usual (egg sttaio, bacon, bread, juices and all the coffe you need). Overall its a good place to stay.

Hotel location is great so as very close to central train station. Suit room I had was very poorly equipped. Bathoroom had few towels and 1 small soap for 2 days. Expensive stay for such service. Breakfast was not bad but overprized.

I made a two night booking for this hotel. When booking in I discovered that I had made a mistake with my dates. My booking was made for one night earlier than I had meant.

The receptionist (Dayana) told me she would call the manager (Sian Seuki) to see if anything could be done. She would then call me to say what solution we could find.

She never called and when I went to the reception the solution was to charge me for 3 nights instead of 2. The third night was offered at a higher rate than was advertised on their website.

Although the hotel was not full or nearly full on any of the night and all the nights had similar rates, there was nothing they could do.

It was my mistake but as someone who has more than 160 business nights in hotels each year, I have never encountered such a poor solution. I have made a similar mistake before and the solution has often been to just move the dates to the dates I had intended.

I could understand them not being flexible if the hotel had been full on any of the nights in question. They were not and the solution may bring them short term gain but I will never use this chain again.

The manager wasn´t prepared to speak to me and the receptionist was certainly not the most compassionate of people.

I am sorry for the circumstances during your arrival.
Unfortunately you booked a non refundable and non modified rate. We had no info about the arrival one day later and it was friday evening, so it is absolutly understandable that my front office manager is in her free time. But my colleagues could reach her immediately by phone and we offered to contact you directly on Monday.
We are always willing and trying to find a fair solution for both sides!

Except the situation by check in I hope you had a pleasent and good stay with us and we looking forward to welcome you again.
