I stayed in this hotel during Medica medical exhibition.

Location: a 3 minute walk from Oststrasse metro station, a direct 78 or 79 metro to Messe Nord where the exhibition takes place. A 10 minute walk into the city center (Altstadt) where most of the lively stmosphere is. So location is great.

Check-in and Service: Lady at check-in was nice and efficient, she even upgraded us to executive suites.

Restaurant: Located on First floor, restaurant served a morning buffet which was really good. An egg/ omelette station, cereals, yogurt, cold cuts, and juices.

Room: i did mention it was an executive room, but so far away from the elevators! Had to walk for literally few minutes to get there. However, room was clean and spacious, and the bed big and very comfortable. Good sized bathroom, strong shower with hot water, hair blower, coffee maker, and good closer space. However, the temperature in the room would not go up despite raising the AC thermostat temperature , which made the room a bit chilly at night.

Facilities: nice spa with 2 saunas, a steam room, and a swimming pool. A day pass is 15 euros, and gym use is free.

Overall, good and recommended.

We had stayed at this hotel a couple of times before; last approximately 3 years ago.
Still has the usual amenities of four star hotel but some renovation / refurbishment might be warranted.
Especially the furniture shows some wear and tear (see fotos).
Our room however, was spacious and comfortable with two almost queen size beds, a comfortable chair and a functional desk with am office chair.
The room was equipped with a coffee maker (individual cups ).
The bathroom was large and neat.
This time we skipped breakfast but noticed in passing that the buffet seems to be as good as ever.

Checked in Friday the 3rd. The room never got warmer than 18.5 C. So called the reception and have just been told that the heating is central and that ‘winter 18.5 Celcius is standart.’ Told us they will send an ‘extra heater’ up. Has been more than half an hour and still no extra heat.
Same thing applies to water temperature. Water is not hot lyke warm.
Not happy with the service and reply provided by the staff.

Hotel is convenient to access ; from airport took around 10min by Taxi (Euro$25).
Metro station is just 5-10min walk . Surrounding many Asian restaurants ; walking distance to the old town (full of Bars & Restaurant).
Just take note U need to bring yr own toiletries such as toothpaste ,toothbrush, comb etc. (u can also buy it from the lobby).
Room is nice & well kept . BF is marvelous ; l love the yogurt .

The location of the hotel is brilliant for those, who are ready to use public transport. You can easily walk from central station (20min from airport to CS), to the downtown or underground metro.
There are plenty of pubs, bars, cafes around the hotel.
The staff of the hotel is very friendly, check-in/out very easy and fast.
The equipment of the hotel is older aged, bathroom is smaller ... and becase there were probably some fair trade it the city (but I am not sure), the hotel was TERRIBLE overpriced ..... so for such money (450EURúnight without breakfest) I would expect different quality.
