I stayed here Monday to Friday for three weeks.
For me it was a very basic hotel, dated but everything is in working order. There's a variety of breakfasts. There are a lot of workmen here as it's quite cheap and cheerful.

Not the place in my opinion to take a partner.

However, this hotel consistently was the cheapest around. Book direct with them for the cheapest deal.

Really does depend what you want, if you want a cheap and basic hotel you can't go wrong with this one.

Has free and good wifi. TV and sink in the room.

Rooms cleaned very day.

Has close links into Reading and not too far from the M4.

Basic but clean. The rooms are dated but functional, shower room very old fashioned but worked. Breakfast OK but nothing special. Room was on the front of the hotel so quite a lot of traffic noise. On the plus side, I ordered a single bed but got a double room for the price. Staff are friendly. Can't complain at the price.

Stayed here as part of work and it was nice, cheap and cheerful. The daily breakfast was a good spread and filling with a lot to go around. Will stay here again if working in the area and need somewhere to stay.

This is my fourth attempt to write a honest review but the words I want to use to describe this hotel I can't so trying to be politically correct me and my son stayed in room 49 he got in the single bed but was woken up by things biting him so being honest the bed needs to be removed so save yourself some money and sleep in your van it's cleaner the best thing about this hotel is the pub down the road the roebuck good food good beer football on and friendly lets see if this attempt gets printed

Probably one of the worst hotels I've ever seen! Uneven floors, trip hazards, fire doors propped open (hello health and safety???) signs of water leaks and missing polystyrene panels in hall ceilings. Albeit there was an en suite, this looked cobbled together and like a grubby and tired relic from the 1960's, as does the rest of the place. The 'bar area and restaurant' looked dingy and unappealing so much so I did not want to risk eating anything from there.

On the plus side, the receptionist was friendly and it was only £44. Bed was ok and there was a kettle and TV in room. Something about monkeys and peanuts spring to mind. Wish I'd paid another £10 and gone elsewhere.
