Owner description: This art museum is jam packed with masterpieces by the likes of Rubens and Titian, but it is most famous for Rafael's Sistine Madonna.

The Galery is located within one of the Zwinger Palace's Galeries/Museums in its large garden. Tizian, Zurbaran, Rembrant, Vermeer , Tintoretto are one of the names to see of their works of art . Highly recommended to see.

We have been, on a rainy and stormy day in the gallery. The collection of paintings is remarkable and spreads from 15th to the 18th century. Unfortunately, the arrangement of the paintings is sub-optimal. They are located on top of each other (huge wall with two paintings one above the other) and not enough room to get enough distance to open oneself to the spirit of the painting. I was really disappointed. In addition to the entrance fee of 10€ p.P. the audio guide is not included (add 3€ p. audio-guide).

You've seen a lot of these in reproduction--nothing like seeing them true to scale and coming "to life." An incredibly intense experience.

It's shocking how an international museum like this, hosting a good percentage of Italian masterpieces and a symbol like Madonna Sistina by Raffaello Sanzio, does not have any Italian language booklet (no worries, all other languages are covered, from English to Corean).
Disappointed by rude staff's attitude regarding my question whether they run out of Italian booklets - they did not, it's just they never had any: since someone in the group does not speak English and needed some, with a shrug they asked "How many Italians speak German?"
Nonsense.
