This place was recommended to friends with whom I was staying by the owner of a very good out-of-town restaurant. And his recommendation was thoroughly justified. Really good imaginative Italian food. I had the pasta both times we were here, but others of the party had pizzas and other items. All were equally good. My friends are well enough known to be treated like family, but I felt completely included in the general worm welcome. Yes, it is off the tourist track - and none the worse for that. And I can imagine that parking would be an issue. But worth parking as close as you can get and then walking.
