We found this restaurant while walking through Malaga and were VERY pleasantly surprised.
Byoko has only been open for a week or two, but the food was amazing, and the two owners (whose names I unfortunately can't recall) were extremely accommodating.
My wife and daughter (who has several food allergies) ordered several tapas dishes. After checking with the chef, one of the owners informed us that the bread that their tapas were made with possibly contained traces of nuts, but they'd be willing to make the order without the bread if that was ok. When our order arrived we saw that in place of the bread they had made small crepes for each of the dishes. This was a pleasant surprise as my daughter had expected them to just place the ingredients directly on the plate.
The owners seem to genuinely appreciate you choosing their restaurant, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation, and we wish we had found it earlier in our trip so that we could have gone more than once.
