I almost feel bad writing a bad review. But honestly guys save your money, most importantly your time to do something else in Malaga. I feel bad to be negative beacuse the people on the stage did work hard, only they are neither performers nor professionals, they are amateures you see on the street and give €1,-. It's outrageous to pay €25,- for this! If you ever been to Flamenco perfomance don't go there and of you've never been to Flamenco even more don't spoil your image of this beautiful art and avoid this place.
Sincerely...

Thank Vagarsh M

What to say - in a lovely old building in Malaga old town but really disappointing show and pricey. The singer had a microphone which is not authentic and although the dancers were talented they seemed dressed up for the tourists and the show was fairly short - there was no atmosphere and it was quite disappointing. If you want to see real Flamenco go to Madrid or Seville.

Very small stage erected above a staircase. It's really a beautiful building better suited for use as a restaurant or bar. The chairs are small and crammed together and ideally you need to sit in the row in front of the balustraded opening to the ground floor as the seats in front of the stage are too close. The Flamenco itself has little of the passion of Los Gallos in Seville. It's OK but not great. Malaga is a lovely city and it deserves a little better really.

Good dancing no doubt with lot of energy and expression but tricky for those unable to climb to go up one flight of steps. Extremely restricted stage and the chairs for sure need replacing.
I have seen flamenco before in Seville and I think colors to the costume and a large stage do make a big difference.
Besides 25 Euros was a bit over priced!

Be careful not to let the reviews that think the venue is awkward color your perception. I almost did. It is a small space, and it's a tad funky, not luxurious. But look around. Just the history of this building should give you a smile. 12 foot carved doors, humongous chandeliers, a grand staircase that is partially blocked by the stage, but even so, if these walls could talk.
Several other local shows do not have presentations mid week like this one. Get there a bit early to get the most comfortable viewing seat. They say ten minutes, but I would shoot for 15 or more. Sit just behind the oval railing that is above the glass floor looking down to the entry below. Front row will have you looking up more than you like. Or sit way in the back center.
We have been to several flamenco shows in different countries and cities. Every group is unique. This one is wonderful! 3 costume changes for the women, or was that 4? The energy they put forth, their hand gestures are mesmerizing. Hair pieces were flying...one dancer was like a locomotive, slowly building in both pace and sound. The male dancer was surprisingly agile but was not surprised by his power. A good time !
