We wanted to like this place. It looks lovely and the server, while harried, was a nice guy. But the food was awful. I got the chicken pastela, which proved to be an unseasoned mass of dessicated chicken (nothing but that chicken!) in an over-sugared hard once-it-was-pastry-but-now-it-is-cardboard shell. My husband got the lamb and prune tagibe, which had no flavor at all. The sauce was literally warm water. We left after a couple of bites. This food bore no resemblance to real tasty Morroccan food. Avoid avoid avoid! Go to the smaller places down the street;

I asked the waiter for suggestions, he suggested the tanjin with lamb, hummus and Arabic bread. Solid recommendations. Flavorful and delicious. Prices are reasonable for where it is located and quality of the food.

It was not particularly bad, but having 3 different tajines (where the vegetarian tajine was a complete underachievement), all with frozen peas, hummus and eggplant "salad" we were all disappointed with our meal. The house white wine was truly horrible – this type of fruity, fermented wine is sold for 4 euros even in Finland (which is infamous for its expensive alcohol) and here we paid over 10 euros for the bottle. Having to pay extra for the bread to be eaten with hummus... not good. Service was friendly and efficient and the place has a nice atmosphere.

We just walked in off the street and you would have thought that we were regulars.
Warm welcome, excellent food and tremendous value for money.
We had the menu of the day which had four or five starters and the same for main courses. A half litre bottle of water and mint tea to finish are included at a cost of 11 euros.

Well recommended if you are in Granada.
