The hotel is very nicely decorated and the staff are pleasant and helpful. However the superior room we had has a few deal breakers for us. The room (8) has a shower/tub. The top edge of the tub is at my knee level (I am 5'5" tall) and there are no grab bars and the tub is extremely slippery. The lower half of the closet is unusable due to a refrigerator and my husband's shirts and pants were too long to hang in it (he is 5'11"). There are 4 shallow drawers in the closet so keeping things organized was difficult. It was warm while we were in Granada and the heat was still on from winter. Our room was very warm and we heard other guests mentioning how warm their rooms were as well. The rooms open to the central courtyard which is used for breakfast and lounging so we heard noise early in the day ( 6am and late in the evening.(midnight and later). We had to keep the windows open as there was no airflow until the hotel gave us a fan. There are lots of good things about this hotel but even most of the chairs in the lounge, where one eats breakfast, are very low to the ground leaving one's chin uncomfortably close to the table.

Location but you have to park your car in a parking (10/15 mn walking): hotel will give you ticket with special rate. Room/entrance with good decorations
Breakfast is standard but small bar/fridge is open all day with good collation from 4.30pm. Don’t select room 1 due to noise

Highly overrated. We arrived and found an odd sour odor in room. The room itself was very small and stuffed with furniture. The internet was incredibly slow. When we asked about it they said it was fine.

The shower had no hot water and they fixed it by shutting off the cold water to our room! Seriously?? Also there was a continuous slow beeping noise our whole stay. Weird and annoying. Lots of other noise from thin floor as you could here people in room above walking around and talking.

Finally had rude manager who got angry at us for calling down the stairs when our key failed when we were collecting our luggage to leave. He said we interrupted his meeting by talking too loud! Not recommended.

A very comfortable and well-appointed hotel, ideally located for the Alhambra and restaurants etc. near the River Darro.
Very helpful and informative staff.
Lovely courtyard for breakfast and afternoon tea.

Comfortable room in central, but quiet, location. Beautiful renovation of a very old building. Staff was professional and extremely helpful - storing our luggage until check-in, and arranging a very early taxi to the train station. Nice to have water, coffee, tea available in the lobby.
