Stayed at Hotel Murillo in Seville for 4 nights mid December. It is situated in Barrio Santa Cruz in the pedestrianised area. The hotel is clean, welcoming and comfortable. There is no bar or restaurant but there are so many nearby this was not a problem. We were able to walk to all the attractions---best ones being Alcazar, Cathedral and Plaza de Espana.
If you want somewhere central, reasonably priced with a plentiful breakfast give it a try. We would return to this hotel.

Room Tip: We had rooms at the back----no view but quiet.

Stayed here during the last days of December and the first days in the new year.. Seville treats me really well with beautiful weather.. I love the light.. Hotel Murillo provides a good base to explore the cobble stone streets of Seville... Close to Seville's main attratctions and charming tapas bars.. The service is good, the rooms are small.. But who needs a big room if a great city invites you to have a coffee, a Rioja, some tapas and a great time?

Great location in the Barrio Santa Cruz close to amazing bars and the cathedra, we stayed here when we were looking for a slightly cheaper option. We had a room at the front on the ground floor and we didn't get noise from the street but there was noise from other rooms and the corridor, the rooms themselves weren't the best in terms of decor or facilities but they were clean, functional and comfortable. We didn't eat breakfast there when there are so many amazing places to eat nearby but there are useful vending machines full of water etc in the lobby which we did use. There are other places I would prefer to stay in the Barrio from previous trips but this remains a good cheaper option.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in October. The location was perfect for the centre. The room was comfortable but the bathroom was a bit tired. We had a room at the front which was a little noisy from the street below.

The roof terrace was a big plus and the views amazing. All the staff were very helpful and I would definately return, but I would ask for a room at the back.

Dear guest,
thank you so much for this kind notes.
We're happy that you liked our hotel and our terrace.
About the room: many guests want a room on the exterior side, some others on the interior, this is always very subjective! We always try our best (when possible) to fulfill our guests whishes: so if you decide to come again (and we'd be greatly ahppy of that) just ask for a room on the back side and we'll do our best to give you one!
Sincerely,
Davide.

We arrived in Sevilla in the early afternoon after traveling from Arcos de la Frontera through Jerez. The staff were professional and efficient, getting us checked in promptly. Our moderately sized room was quite comfortable with a fairly good sized bathroom attached. We were lucky to have a small balcony hanging onto the calle in front of the hotel. Since we were right above the main lobby, I was able to connect to wifi inside my room, though it was only supposed to be available in public areas. Bonus! The main attraction to this nice hotel is it's fabulous location in the middle of the amazing Barrio Santa Cruz. Michener said that "Sevilla doen't HAVE ambiance, Sevilla IS ambiance" and the Barrio is the essence of that. Tremendously enjoyed touring the Alcazar, visiting Plaza de Espagna, and crossing the river to Triana. Ate a couple of times at the very friendly Bodega Santa Cruz in the Barrio. Fine tapas. Went to the authentic flamenco show at the "House of Memory". Unforgettable!! The breakfast buffet which I purchased with the room was very tasty and varied. My problems with the hotel were the servicing of the room which took place really late the first day and not at all on the second day (I kept expecting they would show up late again, but nota). I also asked for some food to take in the morning since we had to leave for a very early flight and would not be able to eat the breakfast we had paid for. All I wanted were some rolls with jamon and queso or something, but no dice. I think he thought we wanted a regular breakfast and I shouldn't have bought the breakfast ahead of time. Got us a taxi at 5:00 am though so.... Loved Sevilla, beautiful city!
