Having been in this restaurant before, but only for having some tapas, we wanted to go there for a meal of shellfish. It was a Sunday evening that was relatively quiet. The service was kind and accommodating. We had several dishes, the mixed gamba grill, cockles, barnacles, squid with pimentos de Padron, knives and I might forget one or to. All of the dishes were fresh and skilfully cooked. Especially not overcooked. We had a great time and a superb meal. If you like to eat seafood in Zaragoza, go there.

We dined early (8 PM) and were delighted when many locals joined us immediately after this cozy restaurant opened for business that evening. Tragantua is along a small square Plaza Santa Marta, with a group of tables by this and another restaurant on the square. An entire wall of the dining room was open to the square on this balmy evening. And the seafood ! We just could not sample it all, but what we got was perfect: Fried small octopus with stuffed grilled green peppers, grilled squid (likewise with green peppers), grilled prawns and grilled dorado. And the dry white wine suggested by the waiter was superb, exactly the same wine we got at top-of-the-line restaurant in Barcelona a couple of days later. This is high cuisine, simply prepared at affordable price. We would travel to Zaragoza again just to eat here !

Very nice and cheap tapas, staff very professional and kind, I would recommend the croqueta with potato and jamon (spanish ham) definitely worth it!
