Stayed for night in November 2005. Paid 120.00 euros for a suite with breakfast - superb value. Room was excellent; very large lots of storage space etc. Ate in hotel restaurant food was ok but nothing special. Only problem was breakfast the following morning. The breakfast room was very busy and extremely noisy - however good selection of breakfast foods etc. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

You may read in some listings that this hotel has a swimming pool. Maybe it does but it is out of commission for the present. Zaragoza can get VERY hot in summer. The air conditioning in the hotel is effective and very welcome but a swimming pool would have been a big bonus.

If you like your air to be heavily perfumed you will love the device in the bathroom that continually squirts jets of antibacterial perfume. Otherwise you will just have to learn to love it as there seems to be no way to turn it off!

My favourite feature of the hotel was the breakfast - so make sure this is included in your rate. Otherwise you will find a standard hotel with good sized rooms and plenty of facilities for the business traveller.

We had a superb stay at Melia Zaragoza, despite the early April weather not being quite as warm as we hoped! The room and breakfast were wonderful, and the service good. They even sent on the jacket we left in the wardrobe without hassle, or charge.
Zaragoza itself has plenty to offer, especially bars offering great tapas, and all of the town centre is within a short walk of the hotel, although there were plenty of cabs when we wanted to save our feet.

If you are planning to go to Zaragoza, I can recommend you two hotels: Gran Hotel NH and the Melia Zaragoza. I preferr the Melia Zaragoza, because of the personalised service. I returned in several occasions, so the personal touch was important for me.

decoration is rather English, typical for the Melià Hotels and rooms rather Roccoco, but very great value.

Rooms are very spacious, with working area (with mode and seperate phone) and CD-player, beautiful bathroom, and all the necessary amenities. If you book on the Royal Floor (Planta Real) you will also find slippers and bathropes in your bathroom and a extra bottle of water and fresh fruit as welcome gift. On the royal floor, you have secretary service (have your letters or reports typed out and faxed) and butler serice (you can have your shoes polished and your suits ironed) and there is a VIP-room in which complimentary breakfast is served and where you have free drinks all afternoon and evening (including alcoholic drinks and Spanish Champagne).

Breakfast downstairs is great, with an incredible variety and show-cooking. Food in general is excellent.

There is also a gym upstairs.
Internet facilities in the lobby.
Piano Bar and lobby bar.
The hotel is very centrally located, a few steps from the city centre. There is a public parking under the hotel with direct acces to the hotel.
