Fine restaurant in the hills surrounding Gijon. A car is necessary to reach the place. Wide outdoor parking. The landscape around the place is very nice. The menu is all good. Different types of rice. Multiple selections of fish. And also of meat. Wide wine's menu. Cider, typical asturian beverage also available. Quality cooking and products. The dishes quite big for one person.

Very crowded with locals on weekends, but no waiting if table was reserved. Excellent seafood served in large portions After starting with a platter fried fish and local crabs, we ordered half servings of the monkfish with clams for each of three adults.
Service was excellent.
Bill was 90 euros, wine, bottled water, and coffee included.

This is the best restaurant in Gijón to me, combining all food quality, excellent service and a great atmosphere to result in a perfect food experience.

It's in the outskirts of Gijón, you better get a cab so you can enjoy a good wine or some champaigne.

They are experts in rice with seafood (arroz con bugre), but they also have extreme quality on any kind of meat, fish or seafood.

Service and staff are very well trained, giving you a nice experience whilst enjoying your lunch/dinner.

If it's a sunny day in the summer, please make sure you arrive earlier or stay afterwards in their terrace, with excellent views.

Great location to see the wonderful sorroundings in Gijon, excellent food quality, fresh best fish delicioudly cooked, shellfish paella at its best, several dinner settings, owner reviews each table constantly, clean, sunny time eating outside under beautiful trees.
Large parking facilities, well carefully arranged gardens,
The only problem is that the road to get there is winding and narrow.

One of the better upscale restaurants in the Gijon area. Located among rolling hills with pristine views while dining in the enclosed patio. Service and seafood were top notch. We enjoyed their "esparragos rellenos" (stuffed asparagus), "Merluza a los nogales" (hake-house specialty), "Pixin Almejas" (monkfish with clams), and lobster.
Good wines can be had for 15/16 euros per bottle.
Portions were of decent size. The check totaled 200 euros (for four adults).
Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends.
