We had a dinner there and had pixin, risotto and arroz. Everything was good, but we especially enjoyed the risotto con seta. Their service was friendly and good. Recommendable for the people who like modern food based on the tradition.

If you happen to stay at the Barcelo Hotel Cervantes in Oviedo, this might be the most convenient and good option for a restaurant in the evening. We enjoyed wonderfully prepared tapas, including a shirmp/egg/apple memorable salad. Desserts were also very good and service was impeccable.

My husband and I visited this restaurant with friends last month and have repeated several times since then! We absolutely love it.
The atmosphere is great and you can have a glass of wine at the bar before dinner. The servers are really nice and professional. Also the chef walks around after dinner making sure you have enjoyed the experience.
We usually order several appetizers and risotto as a main dish. Shrimp dim sum with soya sauce and diced vegetables is a must. Prawns fried in light batter with parmesan cheese sauce are also spectacular. Don't forget to order the baked tomatoes with anchovies and afuega´l pitu cheese, truly amazing! All risottos are delicious but my two favourites are Boletus risotto and the black rice with baby squid. I cannot recommend any dessert apart from the brownie with icecream. I ordered it the first time I went to La Taberna and have always had it since then.
Pricewise is OK. We usually pay 30€ per person which includes ALL we can eat (and we have a good appetite!!), wine, dessert and coffee. They also offer a nice menu at lunch time for 20€.

Everything was delicious with Asian accents and the staff was super professional and kind. We are quickly working our way through the menu. Can't wait to go back.
