Nice people but the lack of English made communicating desires and anticipated outcome difficult. 90 minute facial was more like 45 minutes of being alone after each application rather than the accustomed hand and fee massage normally provided while waiting for the next step in the process. Pretty facility and reasonably priced.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. A beautiful property, right at the entrance of the caso historico. Small, but very modernly decorated, and very comfortable. Elegant. They have valet parking if you are driving. Front desk service is really good.

This is our second visit yo Oviedo and our second stay at the Princesa Munía. We were happy the first time and every bit as happy on this occasion. The hotel has a young energetic and very helpful team. Nothing is too much trouble for them. It speaks volumes for a modern hotel in the centre of a city that we remembered everyone of the staff group here. We stayed acfull week, used the spa every day except one, and returned home relaxed and I swear a little slimmer! We would class the Princesa Munía as a boutique hotel.
The hotel is ideally situated next to the old city which is pedestrianised. Very close by is the park of San Francisco and one of our favourite restaurants, La Corte de Pelayo. I hired a wheelchair for the week we were here and it presented absolutely no problem getting it to and from the room we had. We hope to return next year. Highly recommend both the hotel and Spa.

Room Tip: The area is generally quiet at night so all rooms are good.

We stayed 2 nights in Oviedo at the Princesa Munia. Our room was quiet and had a very large, firm bed. Overall it was a pleasant stay in a great location to explore the city. We did not use the spa or have the breakfast, but I would recommend the hotel for the basics. Even during busy July, the hotel was quiet, not crowded.

Spent one night in the hotel, chosen mainly because of convenience.
The stay was so pleasant that we regreted not being able to stay longer.
It is located in central Oviedo, within the old city, where asturian flavour, tradition and aesthetics reach their best. Plenty of things to do and see. Next to loads of restaurants to have asturian cider and eat excellent food as Gascona o el Fontán areas(norther spanish, we are hard to beat in gastronomy), a step away from Oviedo cathedral (observed by "La Regenta" literary character from classic writer Leopoldo Alas Clarín) and young night clubs not far away.
The hotel itself is very nice. Room amazing. Modern, sophisticated, quirky. Glass shower. Lots of light intensities to play with and create ambience. Views were not the best... but great moscovitas as welcome gift.
It is an spa hotel, which I think is the most appealing atribute amongst locals. We had the chance of getting emergency make up done for a wedding, which was fantastic, even relaxation experience. Not time to try the spa, but looked lovely, small and quiet.
Staff great. Very kind and helpful. They literally saved our stressful day.
Lovely. We would love to be able to stay again and make the most of it. Thanks.
