I stayed here with my mother at the end of January for 7 nights self-catering. We arrived here during the afternoon after about a 45 minute transfer from the airport. We were originally given a double room but after a mix up we were given a twin room which was ok. After 1 night we were given a very nice room on the top floor(8th).
The hotel location is in an excellent place with the beach, city centre, shopping complex and bus station all within a 10 minute walk.
The apartment we stayed in was on the 8th floor which can be reached by a lift or stairs. It had a bedroom and a living room with a beautiful view of the docks and Parque Santa Catalina. The kitchen had the basic requirements which included a fridge, kettle and a toaster while the TV had most of the Spanish freeview channels and radio stations.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby which I would recommend the Casa Carmelo, Buenos Aires Grill, Wok el Muelle and the Limerick Bar.
There is a very good transport system with regular buses to other parts of the island especially to Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles, where it cost €6.70 each way. While bus journeys around Las Palmas are about €1.60 per journey.
Overall it was a very enjoyable stay with very friendly and helpful staff in an excellent location with very clean rooms.More
