A very impressive cathedral. Peaceful and spacious. The old town is a nice place to wander around and the cathedral is one of its jewels

Imposing if largely uninteresting building inside though the eccliastical rooms leading to the main church are worth a visit. Don't forget to take the lift to the roof to get a view of the multi-coloured jumble of houses situated on the hill and views of oil tankers in the harbour. The square around the cathedral is very elegant containing some pleasant houses

Old church in the center of the old quarter of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria: Vegueta. Take a look inside the well maintained church and the small museum connected to it. Recommendable.

Bell tower was excellent. It has a lift to the top. Then there's a 10 to 25 steps to the top of one of the towers. Awesome views from the top. Then visit the cathedral which is very nice clean and well maintained. 3 euros for adults to the cathedral and 1.5 euros for the bell tower recommended.

There are two entrances. If you go from the side there is the entrance for the museum and the cathedral itself. The combined fee is 3 EUR.
From the front you only get to go up to the tower, the fee is 1,5 EUR and you can use the elevator or climb the stairs. We opted for the elevator and loved the view of the city from up there. It's well worth the small price.
