i have just spent 10 nights in this place and me and the wife where disgruntled with many things. First of all we had to go to a sister hotel to check in and then another sister hotel to have lunch, found that a bit strange. The food was well presented but a very poor and tasteless selection which resulted in me and the wife eating out all holiday, many of the drinks machines where out of order for the entire 10 days, shouldn't have to have any additional costs when you have paid a lot of money for all inclusive. The pool area looked okay but the pool was smaller than it looked on the photos when we booked, there was a pool bar which was empty all the time as all inclusive guests had to self serve there own drinks from a separate place and the beer and local spirits where vile. The entertainment was possibly the worst i have ever seen but the staff did there best to make it good but their best wasn't good enough. The staff where miserable and spoke poor English didn't interact with any guests at all. The pool itself was freezing which probably why it was virtually empty all day,you couldn't use inflatables which i can understand but when the pool is empty i think they should be allowed, the beds where too close together which made you uncomfortable. The main thing that baffled me was the reception in our hotel which was manned all day and night but we where always send to another hotel all the time to do things i.e check in, money exchange, etc the staff just sit there miserable all day. We tried to check out online in the hotel reception area and paid 4 euros to do this = 20 mins and then found there was no internet connectivity so the wife told the receptionist this and he told the wife there was no printer so that's why, baffled .com!!! Over all we had a lovely holiday but had a bad feeling when we where in our hotel so we would certainly never return to this place.

Having read some previous reviews about this resort I was rather dubious, but our family and 2 others just returned from 7 days and we had a great time!! Staff very helpful and friendly. Passports not stored in pigeon holes in reception they are kept for an hour to book you in then handed back. You can hire a safe in the room for 21 euros per week, ours didn't work but we were offered one in reception free of charge which we could access at any time. Food was better than I expected, always a good selection, the children never went hungry. Rooms perfectly acceptable, clean and spacious(there were 4 of us) Entertainment was good, kids joined in some activities, no pressure if they didn't fancy it. Pools a tad on the cold side but didn't deter the children, our only complaint would be the rule of no balls or inflatables. Lilo's and holiday go hand in hand in my opinion...
The area is lovely, views amazing.
Short walk down hill to promenade but we had to taxi back, hills quite steep.....only 3 euros though.
The sun was a bit elusive only saw it 3 out of the 7 days but still warm nonetheless..
We done a boat trip called The Shogun, steer clear, a lot of money and rubbish!! We do boat trips every holiday and this was by far the worst...paid 150 euros for 3 adults and 1 child....lunch included but was grim, it advertises drinks included but beer was 1 euro and coffee 50cents, not much I know but on top of the original cost I felt it took the Mickey.....had 1 stop, only allowed 15 mins swim time then lunch served....no room for everyone to sit and eat....basically avoid this trip.....
Would we go back? Possibly not, we are sun worshippers so for that reason alone we'd perhaps stay in the south on our next visit to Tenerife...
But we would recommend this resort to others....if people want 5 star then they should expect to pay 5 star prices!!!!

This hotel is not a very good hotel, the food is bad, and you can't do anything in the pool, no games, no inflatables nothing. The only part of this hotel that is good is the animation team, they are fantastic and they made our holiday other than them it is all way to dated and way to strict, I will never be returning again

Currently staying at Bonanza Palace. Pools are great reception helpful and exceedingly clean. Ok some areas need modifying but it's a great place to stay. Not eaten at the hotel so can't comment on this. Located in amazing area called La Paz only a short walk down to the main town.

Not the best, but not the worst, staff very friendly but did have an incident in the restaurant ..... the drinks are very flat and watered down so all inclusive bookers take note.
Food was good. The pool area tiles are extremely slippy when wet!! Take care and approach with caution!! No sooner had I voiced this to a fellow holiday maker I seen a lady slip and fall over hurting herself too.

Gym is a good size but lacks equipment and needs updating.

3 star I'd say
