The food was tasty, price was on point and the service was very friendly. One of us had a gluten free diet and they made sure that the food she wanted didn't have any gluten in it. They respect the client's request on how well done or rare they want their beef and even how "well done" they want their eggs. Would definitely go again! (we had beef entrecote and meat paella as shown in the picture) Loved it!

For our first meal in Barcelona we just had to try the tapas and we were not disappointed at Los Gomez last night. We had seven dishes and a fried cheese. €53.

Worst food ever. We ate different tapas dishes, but not one tasted as it should have. The food did not seem fresh and every dish was a major disappointment. Some dishes we didn’t even finish. Paying the bill, we found out all dishes on the menu were without taxes. Mc Donalds would have been a better choice.

Stumbled across this restaurant as we were walking around the area. Initially walked into the bistro place across the road, but didn't like their menu, so crossed the road and saw this restaurant.

It was busy! We had to wait for about 30mins on both occasions for a table, but worth the wait. First visit, we sampled several tapas dishes and had the trio dessert (the one which had the coffee with gin, chocolate and ice cream). All were superb.

Second occasion, we had the paella. We ordered the seafood one and the meat one. The seafood one was lovely and tasty. The meat one was too salty and my partner only ate half of it. But on the whole, it was a lively restaurant, menus are in several languages and the waiters speak very good English. They have a resident DJ so the atmosphere was jolly.

Having read the reviews, which wereb't great, it looked like Los Gomez hadn't been open that long. Since it was pouring with rain and Los Gomez was close by , we decided to give it a try. Big mistake, next time i would rather walk in the rain to find somewhere better.
We each had a different Paella. They were both only ok, to be honest I've had better Paella in London. The real problem was with the service. Our waiter persuaded us to order a starter, which we didn't really want, but no matter because it never came. The tables were way to close together, and we couldn't help but notice that the lady next to me sent her steak back 2 times because it was rare and she wanted it well done.
Finally, we asked for the bill whilst we were finishing our drinks. After paying the bill we were asked to hurry up and leave because they wanted our table. Fair enough had they asked us to move to the bar to finish our drinks, but being told to hurry was not a nice way to end a meal.
