We were lucky to get a reservation at Shunka on short notice on a busy Friday night. The menu is small but creative and delicious.
We tried several of the house specialties including tuna tataki and lightly fried hockey. Both were amazing! We ordered another serving of the tuna at the end of the meal.
We also had the house specialty Maki roll and a few other dishes including a large portion of unagi.
While their sake selection was limited and was initially served too warm, after 5-10 minutes in a flask with ice when it chilled it was excellent.
We would definitely eat here again.
