I decided to "push the boat out" and treat myself and my 2 daughters to a stay at The Cubik for my 50th at the end of January 2017. We booked a Junior suite with a balcony on the second floor of the hotel and it really could not have made a better choice of room. It was fantastic and so lovely to be able to look across the rooftops over to the Cathedral.

We had a minor hiccup with the room on our arrival but this was quickly resolved by the excellent front of house staff without a problem. Many a hotel could learn a lot from the staff at Cubik. They are faultless.

The food is amazing too. I could go on an on about this hotel but that would be rambling. Best thing for anyone contemplating a stay...check out the website and book a room. You won't be disappointed but don't hang about as the rooms get booked up quickly.

Room tip: Second floor, junior suite with balcony

The H10 Cubik is in a brilliant location to explore Barcelona. It is situated on the northern edge of the Barri Gotic a few metres from the Placa de Cataluyna. Two Metro stations are very close by making the transfer from the airport a simple affair. The hotel was built in 2015 and everything is new. It is stylish, comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is also a rooftop terrace bar (serving snacks and tapás) with a pool with fine views across the city. It seems to be open all year round. Highly recommended.

A wonderfully quirky hotel with lots of cosy areas on the ground floor to sit and relax.

Close to all the Cathedral, a 10min walk to the beach and in the centre of all the hustle and bustle of the shops and restaurants. It's the perfect location.

The Attic roof bar has a small pool with loungers to sprawl on whilst looking at the views across Barcelona. There are large gas heaters and blankets available for the chilly evenings and a wide range of cocktails to suit everyone's taste.

The breakfast has got to be the best I've ever had, so much choice and made to order cooked breakfasts. There is a variety of detox juices and for those wanting to indulge, lots of lovely pastries.

We had one of the smaller rooms, but it was spacious, the bed was huge and the bathroom had a large shower and twin sink unit.

The hotel is immaculately clean and the staff warm and welcoming.

We had a fabulous time and will definitely book again.

Excellent hotel in the center of wherever you want to go. 4 short blocks to Catedral, even less to Placa Cataluyna where all the buses and metro lines are available. Excellent sleep conditions. Bed is more comfortable than one at home. Amenities in room for the junior suite with terrace were great. Nespresso machine is a nice touch. Breakfast buffet also excellent. Ate at the tapas bar one night and it didn't disappoint. Concierge super helpful with navigating the city and offering recommendations. Bravo H10 Cubik
