We've eaten at La Bascula several times over three or four years. The menu is limited to around eight vegi dishes including two or three vegan and a couple of snack options. There's also usually several large sponge cakes on offer alongside the usual coffee, teas, beers and a range of fruit and vegetable juices. The food has always been delicious, and it's well priced. The atmosphere is relaxed, the setting quirky, and the staff friendly. It's relatively small with a fair amount of refectory style seating, so it probably gets cosy at peak meal times.

I absolutely LOVE coming here. The sandwiches and the vegan burger are the absolute best, or the homemade icetea... and the cakes and coffees! The atmosphere is super relaxed and a bit alternative, its a vibe where everybody can just be themselves and it is all fine. The staff is friendly and helpful. Whenever I have friends or family over I always take them here! Just for you to know: you can only pay with cash!

Saw this in the rough guide and thought we'd (mum and I) try it for dinner. I'm veggie but she's not.
We had lovely starters (dips, pitta, breadsticks and carrots and cucumber, and also had a mozzarella, rocket, olive and tomato salad) but there was so much lettuce and rocket! Tasty but too much!
We had a cheese and mushroom pancake and a pear, celery and cheese toasted flatbread for mains. Delicious!
Quirky place - doors as table tops, mismatched furniture. Nice atmosphere. Helpful staff.

Incredible vegetarian food and very cool place... The prices are well-adjusted. Underground restaurant! :)

It's a typical former Cereria (a place where candle were made) in the very center of the city!
The staff is really kind and coffee & food are great!
There are high table, except for an area for disabled people!
