After many years (1969) I returned to Sitges to look up old friends. Platjador is a perfectly situated hotel on the sea front. The attention from reception, housekeeping, bar and restaurant staff is warm, friendly, and welcoming. Any problems or issues were efficiently and helpfully dealt with by Eva, Flora (?) and Toni at the front desk. The breakfast buffet was superb with a wide variety of choice that had something for everyone, with an offer of eggs, whether it be omelette, poached, boiled, being provided on order every morning. My room was neat, tidy and perfectly attended to, in fact I would have given my review a “five star” rating, except that my room was to the rear of the hotel with a less than attractive view. The bar on level 5, tended to by a cheerful bartender, is in a ideal location to enjoy a “nightcap”. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I will return to the Platjador on my next visit to Sitges with hopefully a better situated room.More
