Stayed in this hotel for one night . Picked for its proximity to the airport and the airport shuttle.
The young lady at the reception desk checked me in fast and I was on my way to search for my room.....
The room I was given was #144, and upon exiting the elevator I went on a journey to find it. Apparently the room is not in line with all others, but is a stand-alone room facing inwards.. Decent size and all, but dark and no window to the outside. Instead , it is open to some inner space with no direct light. Didnt feel like spending even one day there, so I went back to the front desk and asked to change the room. The young gentleman at the desk gave me another room on the spot. this time it had a window to the outside and was much better.
One thing that is both good and bad - the corridors are equipped with motion sensors, so you walk in the dark corridors till the sensors pick you up and turn on the lights. Efficient and energy saving, yet annoying.. but OK, not a big deal.
The food at the restaurant is good and the staff is friendly and attentive.
Bathroom is decent and clean, but has nothing but towels and hand soap dispenser. No shampoo, no shower gel. There are no glasses or cups anywhere on the vanity either, so brush your teeth by bending down to the faucet.
The bed - nothing fancy but functional. Mine was making some noises, but I was too tired to care.
The free shuttle is a definite bonus, make sure you book in advance upon arrival.
Overall, not bad for the money. Nothing fancy but functional.
