What a great place. We stayed for 3 nights as a stop-off before travelling to Seville. The hotel is in a great location, close to the Royal Palace and a 20 mins walk to the centre of the city. Nearest metro is only about 5 minute walk away- very handy to take to the areas further away.
The hotel is beautifully furnished with quirky wallpaper and good attention to detail. The room was spacious with a comfy bed. Breakfast in the morning had a good selection of foods on offer with the option for take-out coffee.
We really enjoyed our stay here and cannot recommend a stay here enough. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This is an excellent hotel, the rooms are comfortable, the location is perfect, and the staff are extremely friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Only one small criticism. Our double bedroom was two single beds pushed together with separate bedding in each. This also introduced the risk of falling down the middle of the two beds when they naturally seperated in the night.

This hotel is quite basic in terms of facilities- but priced accordingly
What makes this hotel special is the staff. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful , they couldn’t do enough to make your stay comfortable. Really a great team who made our stay very enjoyable .

Great location to have a weekend in Madrid and has a metro close by . Very close to royal Palace .

Breakfast and rooms are ok .. as you would expect- rooms very clean .

There is a terrace on 8th floor if you smoke . They could probably make more of that as it’s nice .

For the price compared to other hotels in Madrid I would recommend Principe Pio .
