Enjoyed beers along w several tapas dishes here with patatas bravas standing out. Also really liked their little (blanco) sausages. The other patatas (name?) we tried with boiled potatoes were just ok. Tried the vermouth and enjoyed it as well

Great food, reasonable prices, excellent service. Recommend if you’re in the area. This restaurant is conveniently located next to Palacio Real, came here to get water before visiting Palacio and Fernando behind the tapas bar could not have been friendlier. Came back for lunch after Palacio and Alex our waiter was very friendly and accommodating with us and our kids.

Thank Manuel P

Great people- I really can’t say enough about how kind everyone here was. Of course, the tapas were delicious- but what most struck me was the staff’s enthusiasm for the tapas, the wine and sharing their culture.

Tapas being the spanish culture, you need to try this bar as a little stop on your Madrid city tour! Tapas are very good and cheap, but what you need to have is definitely the Vermouth which comes with tapas. Try as well the chorizo cooked in sider. Delicious!!

Situated straight across from the cathedral this bar makes an ideal break point between visits to the royal palace and the cathedral.
Well decorated and peaceful yet handily placed to move on to central Madrid as well.
A good selection of tapas treats freshly made at the bar.
Restaurant is also available for full meals but we only had a snack so cannot comment on that.
Good service and plenty of choice.
